Could I Vote Conservative In The Next General Election?

Could I vote Conservative in the next general election? No. Blog over. Thanks for reading. Firstly, I’ve not changed politically, at least not much over the last 10 years or so. I still believe that Margaret Thatcher was the best Prime Minister this country had, at least since Winston Churchill – my knowledge of Prime Ministers before then is limited. I still believe in prudent financial management of the economy – I believe in lower deficits (remember that?!), lower debt – and having more money in the long-term to spend on whatever the priorities become. James Tells The Tories To Chill Out Over Europe (And Other Bits)

Dear Sir This kind of thing really doesn’t look good. It reminds me of Tony Blair. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/8947629/David-Cameron-sneaks-out-detail-of-talks-with-Rupert-Murdoch.html Seriously – I am a conservative voter and I never ever want to see Labour back in power but that kind of stunt is just like giving them an open goal. ps Apologies for not sending this to Number 10, but I did not get a reply from my previous attempt. Why I Am Voting Conservative in 2010

Originally when I about 10 years old, it was just because I preferred the colour blue. Now it is because I want the economy to be repaired. I want a bright, prosperous future for the country I live in, and love. I fully believe that Labour ruined the country in the 1970’s (3 days a week of electricity, rubbish piled in streets, the country was bankrupt and known as the “sick-man of Europe”). The Conservatives under Margaret Thatcher rescued the country in the 1980’s and made the country prosperous and proud once more. Sure, there were some bad ideas like … Continued
